Situated on a cliff in the L’Homme valley, this imposing castle dominates the neighbouring picturesque village of Mirwart. Considered one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, Mirwart is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, surrounded by a vast 1,400-hectare estate of lush forests that are home to numerous deer. The recently renovated castle, which has been destroyed and rebuilt several times during its history, is the ideal location for your event, seminar, or romantic wedding. It is the pearl of Walloon architectural heritage, remote from civilisation yet easily accessible. An enchanting place, steeped in history and character.

– Hall of honour: up to 220 people, offers beautiful views of the castle’s façade and towers. The square room has dimensions of 17mx19m and is ideal for a walking dinner or a seated dinner with dance party.

– Courtyard of honour: surrounded by the outer walls in the heart of the castle and facing south, accessible via a monumental staircase, is the perfect intimate place for your reception. (outdoor location, variable capacity)

– Historic rooms on the ground floor: Salon Bleu, Salle de Billard and Salle à manger, with a large terrace overlooking the surrounding estate and the picturesque village of Mirwart. (40 people per room)

– Multi-purpose courtyard: possibility of covering with a marquee for ceremonies or welcome aperitifs.

Accommodation

The castle and its outbuildings offer accommodation in 24 renovated luxury flats and suites, each with its own atmosphere and identity. Whether you choose the classic suites with a modern twist on the ground floor, under the wooden beams of the slate roof, or in the medieval defence tower, there is room for up to 65 guests. If you want even more guests to stay overnight, there are several options within walking distance in the charming cottages of the village of Mirwart. The next morning, we will be happy to discuss options for brunch and activities in the vast estate.

The castle has a spacious private car park with a capacity for 125 vehicles, available for your guests.
