From castle to visitor centre

Over the centuries, Het Steen had many functions: from castle to prison and from sawmill to shipping museum. After extensive renovation, today the building on the Scheldt shines as an official visitor centre, cruise terminal and attraction. A handsome combination of old and new in the centre of Antwerp, close to numerous restaurants, cafés, hotels, shopping streets and museums.

Spacious cruise terminal

Antwerp is a well-known mooring for sea and river cruises. If no cruise ship is docked, you can rent the cruise terminal. The view is sure to impress your attendees, and the open nature of this hull space allows for any atmosphere and setting. Bar tables and chairs are available and the three fixed screens are happy to personalise.

The Antwerp Story

Follow this interactive experience trail through 11 rooms, discover the history of Antwerp and get to know its neighbourhoods, museums and famous Antwerp people. Give your participants a unique experience and book an exclusive visit to The Antwerp Story. 75 people can visit the attraction at the same time. You can welcome other visitors in the cruise terminal in the meantime.

Lounge area with outdoor terrace

After The Antwerp Story’s opening hours, you can rent the attraction’s lounge area in combination with the outdoor terrace. With its tables, stools and terrace chairs, this space is the perfect location to raise a glass with your guests and enjoy a magnificent view of the Scheldt, Left Bank and city centre.

Boardroom Book Tower

Looking for a space for up to eight people? Choose the Boardroom Book Tower. Use the mobile screen to stimulate creativity. Coffee, tea and water are included in the price.

Boardroom The Antwerp Story

Looking for a larger meeting room? The boardroom The Antwerp Story is suitable for up to twelve people and is centrally located in the trail of the attraction of the same name. Here, too, you can use a mobile screen and coffee, tea and water are included in the price.
