PEIREMUZEE is located in the elegant seaside town of Knokke-Heist, 15 minutes from historic Bruges and 90 minutes from Brussels.

PEIREMUZEE is the artist’s home of Luc Peire and his wife Jenny. Luc Peire was an internationally renowned figure in geometric painting. The entire site exudes the atmosphere of his art, down to the smallest detail. Heritage, art, ambiance, and the coast blend here in a unique and intimate setting.

PEIREMUZEE comprises an exhibition space, the artist’s studio, the bungalow, and ‘the vault’ – the depot where artworks are stored. Each space has its own atmosphere and can be used modularly.

The garden, with its water feature, is a haven of tranquility and extends naturally from the exhibition space. Perfect for enjoying in good weather. The garden also houses the key work Environment within a specially designed ‘garden room.’ You can literally step inside and experience Peire’s art.

PEIREMUZEE, together with the Permekemuseum, is part of Mu.ZEE Ostend. Together, they focus on showcasing and promoting Belgian art from 1800 to today.
